I went by the sizing chart for this brand on Amazon and ended up with a suit that does not fit - but it is a very nice suit.

The product I got was exactly as described. Nice design, fits perfectly and comfortable. Also covers up ungainly proportions a bit better than another swimsuit I got from Lane 4 that had a similar design! Very satisfied with this one.
Comfy and supportive October 23, 2007
I just tried this suit on and fits really well. I did order it larger than I normally would, but it fits well and is very comfortable. I normally wear sz 8/10 clothes. For this suit I ordered a 40 which correlates with a normal clothes size 14. Yet it looks great on, it looks like it sucks in my belly - which is amazing for bathing suit. I do not swim more than twice a week so I'm not too worried about how long it lasts, and for $29, its not a bad deal at all.

I swim all year round. This has held up and it is comfortable. However, I had to initially return it to exchange for a larger size. I have worn Speedo suits for about 12 years and I have not changed size in that time. Yet, the newer Speedo was too small in my normal size. I wish clothing manufacturers would stop resizing to save money, or to try to get people to lose weight, or whatever the reason. There's no reason a true size 10 should have to buy a 12 or a 14. And there's nothing wrong with being size 10, or 12 or 14. People should be all different healthy sizes. If every woman were a size 2, we wouldn't have lady athletes, or women in other careers that require some size and strength, and women wouldn't be giving birth to children who could grow up to be NBA players, World's Strongest Men, etc. I'll get off my soapbox now. I'm just tired of clothing designers and manufacturers making women feel badly about themselves for being a normal size.

I imagine this suit is fine for some. Like a lot of the reviewers note, these suits run very small, so make sure you have a sense of your size. I had to return mine, which was frustrating because not only did I get charged for return shipping, but the other items in my order no longer qualified for free shipping. The other issue with this model is that the back straps are pretty flimsy. The entire back is basically naked, so there's not a lot of support or rather I would probably keep pulling my suit up and adjusting it with the straps being that flimsy.
