Not quite 'naturally' nude. October 18, 2008
I really wanted to like this bra - it was snug fitting around, had no gaps between the cups and my body [I'm a 32A so it's hard for me to do that 'go one size down' thing for strapless to make sure they don't shimmy down to my waist and for some reason a certain popular mall bra brand runs big in the cups], and of course it was inexpensive. Before I put clothes on, the bra looked fine. However once something went over it, it gave off a very unnatural shape - like two small baseballs placed in odd positions on my chest. Like I was wearing some kind of breast athletic cup or I secretly had plastic Barbie boobs under my clothes. I'm petite and 23 and the pseudo-perkyness looked out of place on me so I can't imagine how natural it'd look on someone bigger or older. It might not be quite as noticable if you're wearing black or loose clothes but after trying it on under a yellow dress, a blue dress and a pink shirt - all three formfitting and thin materials - it looked ridiculous in all three applications. I even asked a friend for a second opinion in case I was just being weird [plus I was still hoping I could keep it, I needed a strapless bra!] but she disliked the way it looked even more than I did.
