There's nothing worse than putting on a swimsuit and seeing stray hairs peeking out around your bikini line, but razor burn, painful waxing, and harsh chemicals are almost as bad as stray hair. Panasonic's bikini shaper and trimmer lets you keep those hairs as they should be--private--without using any of the above alternatives. These clippers are basically just a narrow (the blade is just 1 inch wide) version of standard clippers, but they offer a few special extras, such as the five-position trimming and shaping guide. The guide lets you choose exactly the length of hair you want to keep, ranging from 5/8 to 1/8 inch long. We especially appreciated the guide's rounded tips, which make it easy to avoid gouging yourself as you're trimming. For shaping, the guard comes completely off for super-close clipping. This trimmer is the best. Works perfectly. No complaints. No regrets. Great Buy!! I have had it for almost a year and use it for bikini trims. Never had a problem. Worth every penny.
While I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion, I must comment on the 3/5 reviewer. Either the directions were not read or it is not being used properly.
Better than expected December 4, 2008
Works pretty good. Small enough for "tough" spaces. Its easy to hold and maneuver. Just make sure you get batteries ahead of time.

This has to be the best trimmer I have ever bought.. It is not just for the bikini area.. great for trimming hair too, that is, if you are cutting your kids hair.. its OUCHLESS.

this is a very gud trimmer, very easy to use and since it is a trimmer, not a shaver,results are fine. it is worth of its cost.i love this trimmer.

I realize it is a trimmer, but trimming required an absurd effort, I found, and being unable to get the trimmer wet made cleaning a drag. I could pretty much have set fire to eighteen dollars and gained a greater sense of accomplishment.
