Disappointed January 6, 2009 I was hopeful that I had found a bra that would work. Unfortunately I did not find this Bra true to size, and yes I did take into account US vs UK sizing. The cups are smaller than my Medela two cup sizes smaller, uncomfortable, awful cut. I hope they are able to improve in future. Will keep searching. With my luck I may be done breastfeeding and have a reduction before a company actually gets around to making a supportive, comfortable, attactive bra that keeps the tata's in thier place and is still functional for breastfeeding.
Pretty Good November 10, 2008 It's so difficult to find bras that have small band sizes and larger cup sizes. It has moderate support for me. The seams don't show too much under shirts, and neither does the lace. The cups are rather wide--I can feel the top of the cup almost under my armpit. I was able to find a more supportive nursing bra that I use for daytime and outings, but I love to use this one for sleeping and taking it easy around the house.
Pretty good bra June 13, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Bought this bra without having tried it before so overall, satisfied with the purchase. Compared to my Goddess 2050 which is very supportive without underwire but very plain, I think this bra is pretty enough. I think it's good enough to wear under tighter fitting T-shirts with the curved seam (between lace and main cup area) showing a little. There aren't any itchy seams or lace. For my size (32G) I think the support is just passable to be wearing out in public. Any less would not be flattering. I try not to run (eg. for the bus) in it though because it's a little embarressing. I think the price $45 is reasonable but a little on the high side, considering it's a medium support bra. The shape of the cups are okay, a little on the pointy side. Also, wish there were better side supports so that I don't look so wide at the bust. I'm very glad it comes in black and nude, rather than white! And that it comes in my size! If I was looking to buy another nursing bra, I would research the Anita line in hopes for something more supportive (but without underwire) before considering buying another one of these.
Best Nursing Bra October 17, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is one of the few nursing bras that comes in a large cup size with a small band size. With my first child, I wore a 32J. This nursing bra saw me through 11 months of nursing with the first child and now 3 months so far with my second child. The bras have held up very well through all the washings, and the design works very well for a quick release, which is necessary when you have an impatient hungry child!
Didn't work for me August 21, 2006 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This bra didn't work for me. The cups were way too far apart--under my arms. Very uncomfortable. Not sure if it's a problem with the design or strange sizing.
