Really comfortable April 5, 2007 I've had it for 8 months now, only problem is that the lace below the hooks is starting to tear. I think they will prolly be trash after a year, but they have been great for now!
super duper huge January 18, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have Goddess bras, and it seems that each style has it's own sizing. The love at first sight bra fits wonderfully, while this bra is about 3 cup sizes larger than what it is supposed to be!
comfortable, but huge sizing and problems with clasps March 15, 2006 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
With the right size, I think this would be a very good bra. It's comfortable and supportive.
However, be aware that the cup sizing runs WAY LARGE. I wear a large cup size even when not pregnant or nursing, so I was very surprised to find that this bra was too big! I ordered according to the measurements listed (G), and the bra I got was WAY too big. I exchanged it for two cup sizes smaller (F), and the new one is still way too big, though I needed it urgently by the time I received it, so I have kept it and have just accepted that it's too loose to hold nursing pads in place.
In addition, I have found it totally impossible to unhook the cup clasps one-handed, which is a bummer when I'm holding an impatient hungry baby.
Also, the first one I received was defective (one of the cup clasps didn't hold). The customer service person was very courteous, and it worked out okay since it enabled me to get the smaller size without having to pay for shipping a second time. However, it was still a big inconvenience because I had to pay for a second bra until they received the first one back, and my baby decided to make her appearance before the second bra arrived, so I didn't have it during that first week of trying to get accustomed to nursing.
I DO recommend trying this bra, but my advice is to order a couple cup sizes smaller than what you think you need, and order far enough in advance to give you time for an exchange or two if necessary. Better yet, if stores carry your size (Most stores don't carry larger sizes), buy it in person so you can try it on.
