This bra is beautiful and I want to love it.
I bought it in black to wear with a dress for a special occasion, I love my Maternelle, also by Elle Macphereson, but the straps are pink and my dress was black.
This bra doesn't come close to supporting my DD chest. It's also a little tiny bit scratchy, but that doesn't bother me. I know I am wearing the right size so that's not the problem. The bra just isn't made to handle what I've got goin on. If you have a smaller bust this might be the right bra for you.

I almost returned this bra when I got it. I thought the material would be, as others have said, itchy, but decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. Because eventhough I own 5 nursing bras (mostly expensive ones), this seems to be the only one I keep wearing over and over again. I wash it, and then, leave the others aside so I can put it back on. I've got the one in black and it's just so sexy under my clothes. And because of the color it looks good even if the straps are peeking out. The support for me is great (but I'm only a 32C, so I can't say for others). And it also does not dig in under my bust to create an ugly line, as other bras do. I am truly loving it, and if I could recommend it to anyone, I would tell them to give it a try. The fabric will soften, the lace is just beautiful, and the support is great for a C cup. (I can't tell for anyone bigger than that)
Pretty, but no support and itchy September 13, 2007
Not worth the money. Yes it's pretty but as a nursing bra it just doesn't make the cut. I'm not even that generously endowed -- I wear a 36B/C even while nursing -- and I'm finding that it doesn't provide enough support. Plus, the straps are itchy -- I think because the lace scratches. Also agree with the previous review that the clips are a little high -- would be hard to undo/put back on discreetly when nursing in public. I do not recommend buying this bra -- for all its prettiness you will never wear it, because it is not at all practical.

I really like this nursing bra, it is comfortable and very attractive. I think the maternelle bras have more support to them, but this is a nice one to have for the occassional attractiveness of it, dare I say "sexy". The v neck is also good for certain tops that you may wear as opposed to other nursing bras. I really like the Elle McPherson collection of nursing bras. This one for its attractiveness and V-neckline and the Maternelle for all over support and comfort. I am very happy with the bras, I wore them when I was pregnant and nursing. Great quality, worth the price.
